Which Car do you Drive?

my mate's got a 2002 clio and we managed to get 3 bags, 3 fat buggers (all 15st+) and trolleys in it. wouldn't wanna go far but it is doable.

i have a fiesta (2004 model) and can get my bag and trolley in the boot only having to remove the driver without dropping the seats. with the seats down it'd easily take two bags and two electric trolleys.

I Hope its a 3 series estate, because in my 3 series its driver and 3 wood out to get my bag in....

It's a 318d ES saloon thingy. Hopeless with cars, aint costing me a bean so not fussed. One of the few perks of my job. Doesn't look too roomy in the rear to be honest, but at least i'll look like i belong in the club car park at last

54 plate Focus c-max 1.8 petrol, cack mpg, cack interior but loads of boot room, I never take my trolley out when I get home and still get a full loads of shopping in the boot with room to spare

clubs wise I can get my trolley, tour bag and holdall in, with 1 seat down I reckon 4 passengers and 4 carry bags easily

want to change but skint so am gonna keep it until it dies :)

i was thinking either m3 or a 330 convetable. is the boot space really that bad on them?
There is plenty of space, just the width is not enough... Split folding rear seats were an optional extra from 55 plate onwards...with the 40% seat folded, I can get 2 sets of clubs and my trolley in...

I have a 2007 M3 and they fit ok but I have to take the longer woods out of the bag and put them in at a slightly different angle.

Got an Audi A6 estate as I wanted a larger estate - but the bag still has to go in at an angle, rather irritating.

Remapped Turbo or Turbo S matey? lovely motors.
This is my daily driver, do 50 miles in it everyday for work.
Always have a set of clubs on the back seat.

It's a great commuting car and you can fit two sets of clubs on the back seat if needed, but at 550 BHP this is actually my slow car ;)
But to be fair I do get a few odd looks when I start pulling two sets of clubs out of the back when I reach the club.

If I need to take more passengers I steal the wife's are but it's actually worse on fuel than the 911 (4.2 V8 Audi RS4)

Had a Volvo S60 for 4 years. big boot, the back seats split and drop which is useful in a saloon and means I can get 3 people, 3 bags + luggage without problem. Boot space is a major consideration when looking at a new car tbh. I don't do a lot of miles so economy not really a priority.

I've got the new Volvo S60 and as you say it's got loads of boot space and it's a really nice car. It was definitely a consideration when I chose it. Again as you say I've had 3 people plus clubs and trollies in it with space to spare.

Iv got a 2000 reg Volvo V70 with 160,000 miles on the clock and the engine is still ticking over like a mouses heart:)...She's a 2.0 ltr turbo petrol.....It owes me nothing as i bought it crashed and repaired it myself.

And it swallows golf gear for fun....4 trollies 4 bags and 4 adults in comfort....I would love another one but cant justify giving the Irish (Rapists) i mean goverment the the price of the tax... ..The old girl has given me great service for the past 5 years but im changing the end of this year to either a Volvo V50 or a Peugeot 407 SW.......

Not sure which yet....I want a small deisel engine....1.6 hopefully.....The road tax here isnt even funny..Just last week i forked out 186 euro for 3 months....I might as well just bend over and drop my pants for the gobshites :(....

There's already been a couple own up to one on this thread, but I have a Seat Leon Cupra.
The trolley is permanently in the boot. I can fit the bag in as well if I take the woods out but it's so much easier to sling it on the back seat.

Got a Beemer 320 M Sport. Nice car - very comfy for long drives. In the snow its shocking (rear wheel drive I understand). Gets the clubs and Powacaddy Classic in fine. Also, as it has run flats theres no spare tyre so theres an extra compartment under the boot which I am sure can be used for drugs smuggling!

Audi A3 which is a tight squeeze for the clubs and a Volvo XC90 when the rear seats are down its huge and would easily fit 5 sets of clubs and trolleys ;)

Chrysler 300C touring. Can get a pencil bag in, with about 5 clubs in it, but no driver.

And at a push, a woolly hat if I fold it small.

Volvo S60, which has a ton of room in the boot. I once got an electric trolley, pull trolley, 1 cart bag and 2 carry bags in there.

I'm yet to read through all of the replies.... But I am the only regular golfer I know who drives a Smart. When I purchased it I even took the clubs along to make sure they went in the back. I can even get two sets and two trolleys in at a real push!

Insignia's, narrower boot, also smaller in depth and height.....so think thats going to screw the way we've been working. Can get the Tourer version but think its mega heavy on tax and fuel.

Test driving an Insignia this weekend - boot is fairly decent looking but will be taking my clubs to check. Considering the 130 CDTi model for the low fuel consumption and tax - the tourers are less efficient and a higher tax bracket.

Currently have a Nissan Primera 04 - has been a great car and the boot will take at least 4 carry bags plus overnight bags or 3 trolleys with cart bags.

Did you take your clubs along so that you could make sure that your car could fit in one of the pockets?
