Where do you buy balls?

I normally hit up eBay to buy second chance golf balls, normally 20 at a time.

Any places where lake balls can be cheaper or stick with eBay. For instance I bought 12 AD333 A grade of eBay for £6.

I buy mine from my club pro or at the range and they are cheaper than American Golf or Nevada Bobs for Pro V1s. If you don't support your local pro he'll not be in business for long.

Last 3 dozen I got from printaball.com
Could have got for less but wanted printed markings and they are the cheapest offering that service. Might use the old sharpie next time unless I have a bit extra to burn

Won a few new ones over the years in society/charity days for longest drive etc (yeh! I wish ) but usually play with pick ups. Most rounds, I'll walk off with more balls than I started with.

Bought a few off eBay recently used ones, grade a Nxt tour 12 for £6.50 including postage and 12 callaway tour i for £9. About 4 in each dozen had pen marks but that was it they were like new and not the ee coated sort either. Think seller was ping eye. Bargain if you set yourself a limit and pick off the ones ending in the week etc.

I agree with leftie , as long as you other guys keep leaving (losing) your golf balls on the course whats the need to buy more, think i must find at least 4 a game.

The last batch I bought was 72 for about £25. Grade A Top Flite. Don't really see Top Flite mentioned very much so they're probably not rated but do me for duffing into the woods.

I have been lucky to have only bought 3 golf balls since I started playing golf last year. I had some balls in my old bag from when I used to play socially then I got some free srixons from my GM mag membership, I promptly won two club stablefords and used the vouchers to buy balls. I did this again later in the year and those lasted until the end of the year when I got balls for Xmas.

As soon as I moved onto the more expensive FG tours over the old AD333s I suddenly started loosing more! I could not work out why as my swing was better. I have eased off in my loosing spree but two rounds in a few weeks where I lost 5 balls each time playing new courses (mostly for hitting too good a shot out the back or driving too far into rough etc).

Not good to aquire three dozen and loose 10 within the first month but I still have over a dozen left, probably 15-20 now, back to loosing the odd one every 10-30 holes.

I get mine mostly from Costo. Calloway CB1 power, pack of 24 for £20 plus vat. They also have Titleist NXT, which I notice they reduced to same price as Calloway the day after I bought 24 Calloway. So may try them next time

Got too many balls here. Must have at least 10 dozen of various sorts I've acquired (not bought) over the last couple of years. Even with my dodgy game I can't get through them.

If you do want/need to buy then your pro should always be your first port of call. Support him as much as you can. If you must buy elsewhere these guys are pretty good.

normally i'll buy 3 from the pro shop when i go for a round....but only if theyre nice & welcoming

or of course if im playing at a course where theyre an old friend might have a spend up especially if im getting low

I do an end of year stock up. Once the manufacurer announces a new and updated design, the old model goes on sale and I stock up. Normally find a deal for 3 dozen for £25 that keeps me going for the year.
