When Were You Introduced To STAR WARS?

Seen snippets of the films, but as Star Wars isn't my thing, never seen any properly.
Respect to anyone who is an avid fan, but Sci Fi just isn't my bag!

I liked the originals but they only worked in that era. I remember seeing Return of the Jedi in London and my mum and dad went to see Friday the 13th at the same time cos they didnt fancy a kids film ...... half an hour in my ma' and da' came in scared poopless.

Was in the Med and went to see them filming in the desert.
Came home raving about this new film and went to see the first screening in Dundee.
Computer graphics have now made it totally out of this world.

I saw the first one at Leicester Square the first week of it's release. It blew me away at the time. Definitely one for the big screen to get the right effect. These films were the first of their kind and completely put all other sci-fi films in the shade.
