I find the pressure is on the front 9. I find that there are more scoring opportunities on the back 9 and less card wreckers. Also, as I do not get to pick up a club between one round and the next I have to hope that the swing is working when I start out. I certainly feel the pressure of holding my score to somewhere around my handicap on the front 9 then hope to score well on the back.

about the 13th (si4) then the 16th(si2) have had some nightmare numbers on these holes

Generally I bugger up 2,3 & 4 so it's a battle from there. I never tot my card up until I've finished, and forget the previous hole and it's score.
Usually at the 16th on those oh so rare days it's going well. OB all down the left and tight and with my predominant shot a right to left one if I get a bit twitchy and hook it only one outcome. If I survive that there is OB on the left of 17 too.
