Played today, my mate hit a drive 366 yards!!!! Measured it with my sky caddie so presumably accurate. Whats your longest drive?

In Australia - Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory to Sydney, NSW Australia. A fair few thousand miles. Took me a leisurely two weeks stopping off along the way!!!!
On the golf course - don't know, haven't measured, but have knocked it over the back of the 15th green at Pyrford with a driver, off the whites and onto the 16th tee. Wind behind and in the summer so would say that's about 310-320.

I drove from belfast to dublin, then onto a boat to holyhead down through wales and england to london and then returned the same route, same day. I was knackered after it!
I think you will find bragging about driving distances is tantamount to E-willy wangling matey.

310 yards on Sunday which is really big for me, think it's only the second time I've gone over 300. It was on an uphill hole as well so was well chuffed. Since I switched to a stiff shaft I've added about 20 yards

Not sure exactly but over 360 yards. I have driven a ball into a greenside bunker on the 9th hole at Devils Dyke GC in Hove and the hole measures 404 yards and is straight. 390 yards maybe?
I hit one last week about 355 yards long at Hindhead GC too. Slightly uphill! Stroke index one. I was on front edge of the green. Managed to walk off with a bogey 5 by the way!
Also drove the 6th green at the Bucks GC a few weeks ago - about 365 yards I think. Managed a birdie then though..

I'm not bothered in bragging rights, just interested. wedge on to the green 3 putts, Par, plays off 6 but can't putt!

Depends on how you measure. I have driven through a 444yd par 4 (Slight dogleg and downhill from about 260yds) Probably carried it about 280/290. All before the great god Skycaddie made it easy to measure a drive. Best drives I have hit have been down wind on links courses (Great run) but on flat calm flat course I would say best of about 280yds. I haven't come across anyone who hits it 300yds all the time.

I must be doing something seriously wrong. My best ever is about 250y. More usual is 210-220. Still, it's more often then not on the fairway.

307 at Lefties gaff. Down wind, down hill. Measured on SC5. It wasn't til I hit one over 300 that I realised how flippin far it is.
Hit one on the flat last week, no wind, 289. Realistically, that is my sunday best.
Last seasons best round my track was 287. I have an annual willy waving contest with a guy I play with, so every time we play together we see who can hit the longest drive. Sad, but fun. Braggin righs at stake.
Average is probably less that 240.

not 100% but can roughly hit my drive uphill on our 5th about 340-360 8-10 times i play it and have drove our 11th 15th 16th 17th quite freqently

My longest drives were in the days before GPS, now they all seem to be 100 yards shorter

I doubt I've got over 270 in the last few years. As a youngster I could easily drive some of the par 4's at Wimbledon Common even with a 3 wood in the summer. I guess old age and a ropey swing have caught up with me. I hit a 260 yarder last summer and thought that was pretty long for me

Actually, that's a lie. 101 yards less.
I don't know. I drove a 340 yard hole once, but it was straight downhill, and the middle of summer.

374 yards. Measured with a push-wheel thingy at a Charity Day at Bicester. Rock hard fairways and a slight down breeze. My Great Big Bertha nearly tore the cover off my Strata Tour ball and won me the longest drive prize - a driver! Just what I didn't need......

Best drive I've hit for ages was on the 14th at Tyrells Wood last year. Just nudged 300 as I was left with a "flicked wedge" to the green. Can't remember if I birdied it now!
It was the one really good drive I collared with the G15.
I followed that up with a 75 yarder on the 15th
Mullered a lovely drive down the 6th at Castle Stuart. Par 5, it must have been 300 or thereabouts 'cos I was only just a tad short with my 5 wood second shot.

Mine was about 278-280 i average about 230-240 but straight most of the time,
And me thinks a few people think they drive a bit further than they actualy doooooo lol, coz i know i always though that i was way over 300 till i got my sky caddie

I had a SkyCaddie too. First time I used it I collared a drive whilst playing at Willingdon GC. "Must be best part of 300 yards" I thought, so marked it on the tee with the SC and marched off down the fairway.
Got to my ball, and pressed "mark" again........
238 yards!!! Bloody hell. I've sold the SkyCaddie now. I'm hitting a lot more 300 yard drives again.
