Another vote for Midget Gems but Smarties and Maltesers wouldn't go amiss either.
Anyone remember a sweet from the 70s called Mint Cracknel? It was pure green mint glass in the middle of chocolate but when you took a bite, the mint broke into shards and ripped your mouth to pieces. Apart from that, it was a marketing gem.
