In the bin - Bounty

Pretty much this…except (and it’s a BIG except) my taste for Bounty jumps all over the place. At times it’s as you, but at other times it’s right at the top. I have no idea what it is about Bounty…but there y’go.

A little Bounty is completely different to a full size for some reason. Love a Bounty, but in my list they would rank near the bottom - just not the same.

I was expecting differing opinions on the Bounty, but I'm truly stunned that people are putting Malteser near the bottom?? That one is the only reason to buy the Celebrations in the first place! It should never be outside of anyone's top two.

Was talking about this with mates also and they reminded me that there used to be a Galaxy Truffle - why the hell did they get rid of them, they were elite!

The inside of a Malteser is made from a similar mixture to Horlicks.

Barley malt extract, skimmed milk powder and whey permeate are mixed into a dough and then tiny pellets are formed.
These are cooked in a vacuum oven so that they expand into very light weight spheres.

If you like them, then you should also like Horlicks. Maybe add a little bit of melted chocolate to your Horlicks.

To me, Maltesers are edible, not unpleasant, but all the others are tastier.
Maltesers are also, weight for weight, by far the most expensive.

Some polls make them "the nation's favourite". They are certainly the manufacturer's favourite.

I'm not averse to a bag of Malteser's now and again but ... A Malteser (much like the crunchie) is very much a niche choc. they both kind of sit in the periphery (& shadow) of the primary choc sweets. I'm afraid that's just the way it is. That won't stop it being a fav/No1 for some folks, just like dressage is liked by some horsey ppl but the most popular is horse racing

It prob didn't happen this way but I feel Maltesers are the spin off show from the highly successful & popular bag of revels Rarely does the spin off live up to its betters

If you're not going to take this seriously then just leave. The Crunchie is much harder texture and the honeycomb is sickly. Not even in the same ballpark.
