What's The Worst Score You've Ever Seen?

I made my apologies and walked off after shooting 69 on the front night of the second day of our Club Championship a couple of years ago. This was after shooting 108 for the round on the first day.

I had the worst case of the shanks with my irons EVER. And I played at a course with eight par 3s over the 18 and water or out of bounds on the right of almost every single hole.

I was playing off 15 at the time I think.

One Stableford point in a society day. Apparently the guy had never played golf before, but was a good cricketer and footballer and didn't think golf could be that difficult. He had no clubs, but the pro shop hired him a rather nice set of the latest Titleists. He was allocated a 28 handicap for the day. His 1 point was for a 5 on a par-3 with a shot. He was in my playing group and was pretty awful.

About 150 around Hurtmore. Mate of a mate, and that was with us standing behind the hole, making the foot "V" behind the hole, to stop and help the ball in.

Worst I saw was a guy entered Seaton Carew Open, he was off 28 just started and had never played a links course before he had 7 points going out but had lost 8 (yes, eight balls ) wind was from the south west so was behind on the way back, he scored 6 points but only lost 5 balls..
