What's the strongest part of your game...

Strongest part is my putting, always been pretty solid with that.

Weakest part is my 100 yards and in shots whether it be pitch or chip shots. I tend to hit the green in better spots from over 100 yards away! Only started having lessons/working on this properly quite recently though. Now ive got a swing that can at least hit the ball in a forward direction consistently i can spend much more time on it. :)

Just remembered my bunker shots need work as well. I usually always get the ball out but where it ends up is a lottery!

We all have a better area of the game, whats yours?

For me it was the long game, i can hit it a reasonable distance consistently (and straight!), it was always my short game that let me down (handicap got to 13 before i left) i've been working on changing that..

So what's your strong and weak areas? And for a bonus point, how much is it costing you per round?

50 yards & in is my strongest part, weakest is 150-200 yards & in. Probably save 6 shots and lose 4.

Strongest part of my game is driving but my iron play is catching up. Weakest part of my game is chipping and putting but my putting is improving.

Bonus point: it's a guess of course but I would think it I were a better chipper and putter I would drop 10 shots. I base that on the fact that I tend not to lose alot of balls so I must be losing shots up close. I fully believe I can drop those 10 shots.

10 shots is a lot!!!

Out of interest what do you play off?

I guess if you're a high hcp chopper (like myself) then ten shots is do-able, but if you play off single digits it may be a bit of a stretch!!!

For me it would be,

Strongest - 120-80yds and 40yds in, pretty decent for my ability, have an arsenal of shots that I'm comfortable playing and get up and down a fair bit.

Weakest - Still would have to be driving, although it has improved vastly over the last few weeks its still a bit inconsistent!

No brainer of a question for me... it has to be my driver and my wedges. Pretty straight and long from the tee and got a decent touch around the greens with my LW for a big guy. If only someone could make me good with the putter.......my handicap would tumble....

come to think of this my weakest thing would probably be my grip and set up. this changes every shot as i do not have a stock grip or set up. im aware of strengthening my grip if i need to but my posture will just go to what i feel is needed by each shot.

on the plus side, im going to ignore what i wrote above and say my greatest strength is that im a feel player!

Strangely, my chipping/pitching and putting currently (it will change next week)...Never really had a decent short game, but was knocking them close at Woodhall at the weekend.

My swing is ok.
It's my clubs that are rubbish

Just like me? With a slight change. Swop swing and clubs around.:whoo:

Putting is probably my best, followed by driving (funny how the one club you have the prefect lie every shot. Causes people the most trouble!!). All the bits in between need work on. Sorry a lot of work on.
