So you are at the first tee you have teed off against your opponent. He tees his ball up takes a practice swing then runs up and happy gilmores it down course.

What would you do?

I'd think it was a little odd to be honest but it's not against the rules so if he could do it then fair play to him. If he couldn't and started taking chunks out of the tee boxes I'd politely suggest that he might want to think about a more conventional method of hitting the ball. If he took chunks out of the tee boxes with a conventional swing I'd stroll to victory and probably come on here and tell everyone what had happened
