Sorry d2 it aint got nothing to do with what makes Tommo feel better, id love to only hand in my good cards but then my H,cap would be false , i can understand how you dont see harm in it as you are off a lower h'cap than you should probably have rather than a higher one, doesnt make it right tho mate . i thought the on line thingy solved all this now & made it simpler. so it shouldnt happen that often that it not recorded ,

This thread just proves to me how very little some people know about the rules and regulations in place in this game.

The EGU does have the CDH system in place where everyone has a lifetime ID number now. When entering Open comps you should be asked for this number so that the club can then update your handicap straight away when the results have been totted up. You can then go online and keep a track of your h/c.
What about how did i do???
I play a lot of away comps and enter every one onto our clubs website and put them in the book in the changing room.
I get the css of how did i do on the monday/tues after the comp.
I'm also a member of another club and the sec there forwards my scores to my home club.
I can't see how you can't do this too for away scores.
And just for the record all my away scores have been 0.1 this year.

nope, never said that. I know it's not right and as I've already said I'll rectify it when I start playing again next year.
Ref the CDH unique number, I have that, I also have the swipe card. I have never been asked to provide this at an Open comp. I think only one of the Opens I have played in publish on HowDidIDo, this happened to be the one I was cut 0.8 in. All the others I have played in don't publish to it.
You lot are never happy! I've I'd manufactured my way up to a 6 hcp and then gone out and took all your money on a sunday morning you'd be calling me a bandit. I know that I am at least a 4 hcp, if not better. I win a lot of competitions at my club playing to this, I'd only win more if I went up!

Not really a well thought out argument! Aside from it being against the rules (and yes, I've already said I won't do it again) what is your beef? Am I affecting your game by being potentially a lower hcp? Or anybody else's?
It's not like I've entered 20 odd Open comps this year and should be 2 shots higher. I've played 8 away rounds this year, 4 of which I've handed in and only 2 of them were under hcp! Of the other 4, 2 were reduction only. So at worst I'd be 4.5 right now.
