What tweaks would you like to see in the new forum?

Rather than random threads everywhere, can I ask anyone who has any suggestions/tweaks, to air them in here please.
That my help the the GM techies to find out what people want and make it better for everyone.

1) For the site to remember me, so I don't have to log in every visit
2) When I have logged in it takes me to a blank screen, it would be useful if it would take me to the Today's Posts by default
3) I've got random buttons overlapping, scrolling of text issues. Is this me or the new layout?

Would like to have FAR better smilies the current ones are junk, apart from that not much to change apart from visual things like colours etc, oh and to have it working better on the iphone if possible.

Yes, I currently use the "new posts" tab, but sometimes I just wanna see all the posts made that day. It's a pretty small moan to be fair. I just wanted to join the lynch mob (insert smilie of your choice here). Maybe its because I have already got used to the v bulletin forums, but I really do prefer this layout to the last one.

This already exists, click on Quicklinks and Todays Posts is top of the list.


Mightymoose, if you click on forum Id nearly bet you are still logged in, you may just need to delete your old favorite form your browser and remake a new one.

A couple of things I would like to see improved:

• Would be better if the "new Posts" link was "unread posts". That way, after reading a thread, I can click on "unread posts" to see only the threads I have not read.
• Change the pastel colours used for the large icons on the "New Posts" screen to something bolder. My "old fart" eyes struggle

So far, apart from the above items, I think the new format is great - nice one GM!

I believe this is to stop spamming and people from posting for the sake of posting just to up their post count.

Just as an FYI for everyone, most, if not all of the above should be doable because the beauty of vBulletin is that it's so flexible.
