Out of all the shots in your locker which one do you get most enjoyment out of?

A screaming drive, an iron or wedge to within a few feet, holing a bunker shot, draw, fade, stinger. or a thirty foot put down hill on a very slick green .....

My personal fav has to be a wedge shot from 20 30 yards played off the back foot that checks, spins and stops by the hole or goes in.

Anything that I've planned and executed well (I'm easily pleased). I did call a shot on our 18th with Hawkeye recently and said I'd hit a big hook like Mickleson had done the night before in the coverage. Called it and executed it perfectly. Other than that I'd say a wedge from <100 yards to withinbirdie difference and then converting

Its always great when you hit a booming drive that goes smack in the middle of the fairway, but personally I get more pleasure from a short iron approach where you've gripped down and hit it to within a feet of the pin, as you know that everything from how far to grip down, how long to make the swing and what tempo to use was all perfect

What an interesting question. I don't think I have ever thought about it before.

I love hitting the green with a long approach, but most enjoyment for me comes from holing a long putt.

But as Homer said, anything that is executed as planned is good.............he should have been a philosopher.

Gotta love a wedge leaving a birdie chance nothing better than marching on the green putter in hand and marking your ball a few inches from the hole!

Mine would be a low punched wedge.

One of the better shots I can play, and used quite a lot for taking something off a full wedge. Great to watch a well executed one hop and stop next to the flag ... Particularly if you playing partner has just lobbed one up and hit the wind to be 10 yards short ;)

A high lob over a bunker to a pin cut close and on a down slope - can be messy but when you pull it off!!!! WOW

ooooooooo
choices...
am a fan of a particularly nice drive which ends up in the middle of the fairway
or a long putt that goes in - and not just falling in - pefectly hit and hits the back of the hole 'in'

but my fave has to be a pitch from 80-120 yards out that stops near the pin for a tap in. Probably cos I am close enough to see it and appreciate it! ;)

all good shots are satisfying, holing a 15 footer when the pressure's on is my favourite espescially the way i putt fs. saying that nothing beats flushing one down the middle off the tee!

Any shot that my playing partners say I shouldn't be able to do at my hcp level.

LW out of the rough over a green side bunker to within 5'

3 or 4i shot to our long par 3 10th in the wind

Any up and down from 150 or less

Anything that I planned to do.

My favourite specific shot was my drive on the 18th last week. Called it - 4 iron over the tree, carry the ditch at the bottom of the hill. Hit it just right, carried the ditch by about 5 yards. Thinned my 9 iron approach up to the green but didn't matter, two putts later I was walking off with a par, and all because I hit my tee shot exactly as I planned. Those are the shots you play golf for.

For me its the shot after you have just hit a good one, for example, hit a booming drive on a par 4 then I love it when you follow it up by putting the iron close, par 5 hit the long one down the middle and you pull off the 2nd onto the green or lay it up perfectly, par 3 landing your tee shot to within 10ft and then stroking the putt in for birdie.

Par3 - perfect contact keeping the head down cos you know its heading right for the pin. Looking up just as its start to drop and thinking go in!

still not went in yet, but I do enjoy those!
