What is your target for 2014?

Spend less on golf ........ whoops! FAIL !
Try to be realistic with shot expectations.
Remember to "forget the score" and relax from the start .......and not after you've blown it because of trying too hard!
Try to REDUCE my handicap and not increase it - as it has for the past 3 years. :(
Learn how to hit a low ball...... consistently.
Break 80 at least 5 times.

To enjoy the season.

Oh and it would be lovely to stop bouncing between 9 and 10. Please can I get down to 9 in march and stay there all season.

To join my new club
To play in as many Q's as i possibly can
To improve
To keep loooooooving the game (wont be hard)

To get to around 14 would be really, really nice.

Not targets as such because I'm putting no pressure on myself, but it would make me happy if I got down to Cat1 and/or broke par off the whites. Obviously the latter would take care of the former :)

After successfully and surprisingly going from 10.0 to 7.5 I'd like to get to 6.0 next year. The caveat is that I am likely to be moving to a different client which may mean less golf time in the week. Depending on how things pan out I might just be happy to keep my h'cap where it is.

play as much as possible. if my handicap drops i would be amazed, I would like to shoot in the 70's a couple of times at my home track.

Only takes one good round to drop , good luck

Aim for me is just going to be to play as much as possible given the arrival of son no. 2, enjoy it as much as possible but definitely not bother with a handicap target as have failed on that two years in a row and find it just puts pressure on myself which takes some of the fun away.

My main goals is to get to 4 handicap.
Go around my course under par.
Get to a few Forum meets to meet some great people and put names to faces.
Play a lot more golf with my dad.
Why does having a target stop anybody enjoying golf?
No goals no glory.
I enjoy all my rounds because I just love playing golf:)

How has your handicap improved this year ?

Always hope that anyone who wants to get to single figures makes it !

Down from 13 to 10. I worked hard on ball striking and tempo which paid dividends and now working on saving a couple of shots a round on short game, including a lesson today.

If my H4H win at West Hill had been taken into account my handicap would have been about 8.8 I reckoned, and I might get a cut in the Annual Review according to the Secretary
