Hello,

A spin on the previous post of what you use to mark your ball, what do you use to mark your ball on the green??

I use a Yes! ball marker or a Euro when i think about it, however i normally stick a tee in!.

Anyone use anything cool or superstitious?!

Wilf. ;)

Since my first visit there last year I was only using ball markers from Royal North Devon to remind me of glorious times(bought 4).

Recently though been using a Chelsea one bought as a present from a good mate.

I use the magnetic Titleist ball marker that sticks to my cap. I think it is a great idea as it makes the marker easily accessible without it being on your golve- something which annoyed me for some unknown reason when I had one on a mizuno glove once.

Ive got a couple of magnetic pitchmark repairs and integrated removable markers. Other than that, ive got loads of scottish club markers when my dad was over years ago, royal dornoch, nairn, carnoustie, st andrews and a load of other great lesser known courses.
Failing any of those, a 5 or 20 pence coin.

American Golf sell ballmarkers with your first name on them. Been using a "John" marker for a while now. By coincidence that's exactly where my putting has gone down!

I use a magnetic Emirates GC marker that fastens to a pitch repairer when not in use.

If you use a tee when your ball is on the green then I think you are breaking the rules, doesn't it need to be circular? I know Brian Barnes once used a beer can in his boozy days and that was allowed.

A 2 Czech Korun coin. Nice weight and size, bright enough to be seen easily, not too clunky and has a big '2' on it in the hope that it indicates the maximum number of putts I'll take!

I got one in the head cover of my White Hot Odessey number 7 putter, but I always feel self concious about using it as it is huge and not that thin, not really sure what purpose it's for?

But generally the popper one from my glove. Quite dull compared to some of the others on here.

Yeah as with haplesshacker my Srixon cap magnetic thingy is thick, I sometimes use them cheap plastic ones you buy for 5p, they are decent the only problem is rooting around in your pocket finding the damn things.

I did get a Rolex pitch repairer from EBay, I think they where been given away at a comp but only cost me £2.50 and is a talking point.
