Bag was getting a bit heavy so I had a look inside and apart from the stuff I did need such as clubs and waterproofs I am not sure that I needed in the quantities that I had.
54 Golf balls
9 Gloves
7 Reading glasses
7 Old score cards
13 Pencils
6 Pitchmark repairers
8 Defunct range tokens (we are now on a card system)
4 Face masks
Old edition rules of golf
4 Ball markers
Far too many tees
Oh and £7.54 in coins

My bags a bit lighter now, though I'm trying to think out the optimum number of balls.

Those scorecards and face masks must have really been weighing you down. ?

54 balls… maybe that’s why your name is back ache?
Things like score cards and face masks obviously don't weigh much but what they do is create mess which means that you add in extra because you're not certain that you can find what you need.
I've gone for twelve balls but I suspect that is too many. Six is about right I think.

You cannot be serious. Almost 5 dozen balls, is it a tour bag?

6-8 balls
20 mixed tees (over the top)
Club cleaner thingy
2 pitch mark repairs
2 pencils
1 summer glove
Pair of mac wets
