What Do You Eat Whilst Playing

Haribo and chocolate bars.

None of it geared for golf obviously . I'm just walking around for hours so something sweet to pass my lips for enjoyment.

I played early last Sunday morning in our roll-up and a member cooked a load of Samosas just before he came out and handed foil wrapped parcels to loads of us with 3 cracking Samosas in each one, I had my first one coming up the 6th, it was gentle at first then the spice started to kick in, it was gorgeous, I then had the other at the 11th, unfortunately I forgot about the 3rd one and its still in my bag at the club

Don't normally have breakfast so by the time we have done the first 9, about 2pm, I feel a little peckish so will get a sausage bap from the clubhouse or if I have been out the night before the last few slices of pizza will do nicely.

i normally play in the AM but don't usually have breakfast, so have to have a mars bar by the 6th.. sometimes a sausage bap if im feeling flush. drink only water really. To be fair, i should just fill my own bottle up before i leave.

Nothing, I'm there to play golf and have no interest in eating. Certainly don't need anything for several hours. Might partake in a sweet if offered one (Werthers etc, not creme brulee) but water will suffice.

if im playing for the club in a match against another club its usually brekky at the local hostlery that we all attend .if its just the monthly medal ,which is normally an early start ,7.30 ish ,its a trip to maccy dees for a sausage and egg mcmuffin meal .on the course if i remember to pick one up out of the fruit bowl it will be a banana and drink will be lemon squash ,a 2 litre bottle of it.
then it will be a kit kat bought from the proshop halfway round. i dont buy it before i go out as the chances are if its warm it will have melted into a choccy mess.

Unless they have a medical reason then no, I don't believe anyone needs to. They might like to or want to but they don't need to and there is no performance benefit in doing so.

well most people of course are not going to die of malnutrition during a round of golf of course, I don't have diabetes or similar condition that requires level blood sugars etc, but i do find i need to eat something during a round, doesn't have to be much.

here comes the qualified nutritionist - probably from the same school as all these PTs in gyms giving nutrition advice
