After embarrassing myself with a 90 at the South East KOK today I played at Sandford Springs in a Travel Industry Gold Day.

I shot my lowest gross ever! 74, 44 stableford points!! To say I was ribbed afterwards is an understatement, at least they know that my 12 is genuine. The next time I play with them I'll be off 6, cut two shots for winning and 4 shots for each point over 40.

The round was good from start to finish. I've just looked at my stats and I only had 32 putts but more surprisingly I only hit 5 greens in regulation.

I got a Callaway summer bag and a dozen Zstars for my trouble too. The next comp couldn't come soon enough but It's actually weeks away.

Great shooting

That's great golf - week done

Great shooting mate. I'm the opposite. Never felt more in control of my game, my swing or my thinking last week. Not captured that feeling on the course since or at the range tonight. Stupid game. Some scoring that

1 under par on the back 9 with a birdie and and my first ever par 5 eagle!! Thing is today just seemed so easy, like it took no thinking and no effort to just hit the ball where I wanted it to go. Last week I felt like I was having to work so hard just to shoot 90???

Great scoring Ashley

I wouldn't say 90 last week was embarrassing, camberley was tricky in that wind, demonstrated by your tee shot.

It makes Homers round all the more impressive.

You don't want to peak too early in the season anyway..... Whoops :D

Well i'll certainly come crashing down when I play with them again off 6 round Chart Hills!!

Club qualifiers feel like months away!!
