Well I played slightly better than yesterday, which should never have been difficult, 26 points today.

played a KO this morning with the society, managed a 5&3 win, then drove to my home club to play in a team game, i managed to shoot a level par net, so reasonably happy atm

Went to the driving range and wish I hadn't
Couldnt hit an iron to save my life, all over the shop.
Then got frustrated so got the driver out and hit the biggest slices I have ever hit.
Used to always slice the driver when I first started and I hadn't seen shots as bad as this since then, my driving has been really good these past 4 months so it's really done my head in, totally out of no where.
Tempted to go back down tomorrow and try sort it out, got a lesson booked Wednesday so want to be able to actually hit a ball before then.

Any wave being ridden after recent improvements has crashed. Played like a muppet and no confidence over the ball. Naturally that manifested back to the short game and even had a four putt. Almost unheard of as that really is my bedrock and yes I did Aimpoint it. Hit the green on the 186 yard 13th to 20 feet. First putt missed the hole by miles and was 15 feet away the other side. Almost like I just hit it. No feel. Dollied the next to 5 feet and then missed the next. Couldn't get the feel all round. No confidence over the ball and no trust in what I am doing.....again. Feel I've taken two steps back.

Played in the winter pro shop series this morning.
Shot 81 for 37 points from the yellows off 3/4 handicap.
Whites comp tomorrow, not sure whether its the 1st qualifier of the year.

Making my return to the course after a 3 month lay off due to a shoulder injury.
Still getting a little bit of bother with it but I have to get out playing soon or I think I'm going to go mad.
Anyway it's an open at my place and I have the "pleasure" of the one and only palindromic-bob for company so guaranteed to be a laugh although the golf will obviously be of quite a low standard after my enforced absence.

Well should've bee out this morning, but the weather conspired against us, just to damn foggy at first light this morning, so it was back home for a cuppa, suits from Thursday night and the motorsport procession on tele.

Got beat in the final of our winter pairs better ball matchplay today 
Lovely weather and a fun game but neither me nor my partner played well enough and were deservedly beaten, sometimes the other team are just better than you. Thats 3 of the last 6 winter finals (singles and pairs) that ive lost in now
Did play possibly the best shot Ive hit for many a game though! At our 13th Si1 I drove it behind a conifer off the right of the fairway. Left with 180 to carry the pond and 190 to the pin all I could do was aim 70 yards left and hit a massive cut (not easy when your stock shot is a hook!) Ripped a 4 iron which just kept on cutting over the water and pitched 15 foot long left of the flag and nestled against the fringe

Fridays laughable 7 points in Fridays 9 hole comp were soon forgotten with 20 points on the front 9 yesterday but 3 poor holes on the back 9 meant only 13 points were scored for a total of 33.

Completely butchered it between the 5th and the 8th, were I played 4 holes in 28 shots including 3 par fours in 24.
