Didn't anyone else roll their eyes expecting a TM putter only to be shocked?

Not at all. I know plenty of "kids" (and at 33 I ain't that old) that have top notch gear. Do they feel the need in this digital age to digitally shout it from the rooftops? No, they quietly go about their business.
In this digital age, if you do things to bring yourself to the mass populous then you bring yourself ridicule as well if it's as pointless as this "looky at what mummy bought me" episode.
My boy will have the best of gear when he starts playing but he will also be taught to be humble about what he has.
Happy days, lets rip the piss out of a teenager who goes online with his new gear.
I think a little reality check is needed for the "older" gentlemen on the forum.
This is 2012, well into the digital age, no more vhs recorders, black and white telly etc. Things evolve whether we like it or not and unfortunately kids these days are using technology more and more, yea some are misguided but come on, but to single this one kid out? Green eyed monster looms I think.
I have to say I agree with Greg here.
I'm not digital technophobe at 30 and love the way the digital world is evolving and what it's becoming. However. If you make a video like this, then expect ridicule along with the praise.
@Greg - When, not if my boy decides to learn the game. He can have my 32's. Gives me an excuse for a set of 33's or those TP 11's from Big Slices thread <THUMBS UP>
Shut the **** up!
Shut the **** up!

It might be green eyed in a way but I feel it is the look at what I have that gets on some peoples nerves. The kid is proud of it that is fine. Am I jealous, possibly as his gear is definately better than what I have. Do I think he is right to brag about it not really. It is a very American attitude, the whole living the American Dream. Maybe if he had shown one or two clubs not the whole bag some people might not be so aggrevied?
He is American, americans sometimes are brash, I make no excuses for them, I cant stand the whooping etc at tournaments but it has come to be expected. I just dont know why one lad gets singled out when there are plenty out there.
Go on you big jealous thing ya.
What is the difference between that and posting a list of gear as a signature and giving blow by blow accounts of the bad days on the course etc? (not aimed at anyone in particular, just asking). Either way, its going to get a response good or bad so why single one kid out?
It was all down to his presentation. He can across as a plank and I found it funny, plain and simple a bit like the presentation. Thought I'd share it. If the lid feels bad I'll find a couple of others to put up as well.

Like this one, he's a wee bit more professional. The artistic half face shot is very neat. And I think his revolutionary idea about using his putters on the putting green to compare stats is a top notch idea.
Here is one from our own shores - geeeezus!
