Was 24.2 before today, but I shot 40 points today which should give me a 0.8, or if I'm lucky, a 1.2 shot cut

Depends on the Stroke Index - rounded down to one more than the score which would attract 1 stableford point, but a par 3 is unlikely to be SI 1 or 2.
