Westwood 2015 True Blue Memorial Shield

I have arranged a day at my place for the last two years and we now play for a shield in memory of a lad who played in the first years event but sadly died in a car accident. It is held at Westwood golf club (Leek -Staffs) It will be on Sat Aug 8th. £28 for bacon buttie, coffee, 18 holes and prizes. If that's not a bargin I don't know what is! If anyone is interested just let me know on here. :thup:
Deposits now being taken £10. It's quite a tough place to play. In two years only one has gone over 36 points!

I can certainly commend this event!

True Blue (Rob You) was an active participant on more than 1 other forum, one of which organised a bench on the 3rd hole of his beloved S&A!

Fondly remembered for his 'it's just a wee breeze' comment about umbrella-endangering gales!

I believe that's actually his father on the bench! He left a wife and a 15yo son, apparently after a heart attack at the wheel last (2014) March!

There's a half decent comp at S&A on sept 30th £65 entry.
