I'd like to take my 12 year old son on a golfing holiday to Spain this year. We'll be going either the 1st or 2nd week of July.

I'd like to take him for a full week. To somewhere nice, but not too expensive Somewhere where we can play a round or two of golf each day. He plays off 24, so he's not bad.

I'm going to have alook at Golfbreaks.com, but does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations for location, and courses?

Many Thanks

I'v used the above a couple of times and they are very helpful not sure about sapin in july if you decide on it make sure the buggy is included in the green fee, if you email the above they thell them what u want they will come back with options for you.

Try a company called Tarleton Golf (you'll find them on the net). They have some cracking deals. I did a golf week with them last year and had a great time.

Bit difficult to recommend really, Spain is a big place !!

Practically all along the Costa's there are loads of golf courses wherever you go. It may be better to decide where abouts you are going to stay first then look for recommendations in that area.

wherever you choose, the courses are going to be busy at that time of the year (you must have an understanding LEA), and I suspect the more popular tee-tmes (early to avoid the heat) may already have gone.

Head for Murcia m8. Loads of courses there and they are all great. Also have a look at www.thegolffactory.es They have great deals on courses.

I'd recommend playing La Finca, Las Ramblas, Lo Romero, Hacienda Del Alamo.

Weather could be hot as guys have said, I play in August every year and take a buggy.
