Week 2 and we are pulling away - another 45 points :)

bagged 45 points in our 6 week team scramble comp to give us a 10 point lead overall. Highest score again after 48 points last week.

Bogey start but then it was par golf all the way, a 2 and a biride 3 on the back 9 saw us home in 68 gross 58 net

The mad thing is we didnt play well at all but scrambled really well. I was again holing a few tricky putts for pars so overall a decent days golf. Just a shame the fog took forever to clear cos as we were on our 16th it was glorious.

Didn't get out today so have to make do with yesterdays round as my final game before Woburn. Going to hit some balls on Tuesday night but feeling wonderfully under-prepared. Good shooting in the scramble but pedal to the metal over the next few weeks to keep the gap or increase it to make the last round a victory parade

cheers Homer, its best 5 of 6 rounds counting but as we are unable to play the 6th week we need 5 decent scores in by then.

My long irons are shocking at the moment. Not holding much hope for Woburn and tee shots can either be bang on or sliced like a banana.
