wedges

I had a look at the pings but found them too heavy.

I've had the callaway x forged which were good wedges but have now stopped due to the new grooves rule. So i went back to vokeys. 52 and 56 for full shots and mid ranged pitches. I only use the 60 for around the green. Tend to avoid using it too much as it usually costs a shot rather than saves one, easier to play safe with a different club.

But to the point, vokeys are up there at the top.

From personal experience I can say I like the MP-T10s I play. I find them a great all round club, they like the pings are heavy but I find that to my advantage. I know I can keep my hands quiet when needed and the club will do the work (doesn't keep my hands quiet but thats another story).

The heavier club also means I can focus on precision rather than power as the weight carries the club through.

From what I have heard the big names mentioned here all do a good wedge and it is what best fits with your set, your swing and your course.

I must admit, I didn't get on with Ping (had the old 'W' wedges) and switched to Vokeys.

Love the weight on them, and they suit my swing. Also have a x-forged in the bag, which is also a nice wedge, and would I would consider looking at Callaway wedges, in the future when it comes to change, because of it (although not to keen on the looks of the Jaws wedges).
