Ok, so I tend to go through wedges like confetti, I chop and change far too much and it is starting to annoy me.
Looking at new wedges, and hoping that I will stick with them, just looking for info on what you use, and why. Also if anyone knows wether there is much difference between cg10/12/15 etc, things like that would be grately appreciated.
Thanks
JT

CG10 had standard grooves (I think)
CG12 had the first generation Zip Grooves
CG15 has laser etch between zip grooves to make them even spinnier!

All are blade style and all are worth trying

Currently using mpt10 wedges, check out my detailed review in the reviews section. Great wedges and can be found at around £50 each new if you shop about

Thanks imurg, how is the mizuno compared to the cleveland?
OS, I read that, I have never owned a mizzy wedge, it is on my list.
Now the other questions is, do i just go back to Vokey wedges? or are other wedges as good?
cheers again

Thanks imurg, how is the mizuno compared to the cleveland?

Honestly, just as good performance wise but better to look down on. The Cleveland's lack the visual class.
Plus I'm having nightmares with the 58 at the moment but not the 52 .

Imurg, have you ever used vokey?
Fundy, what is you bad shot eith the wedge, mine is a fat, I found that I fat less with cg14's than with vokey, but think the bounce may have had something to do with it.

I love my Vokeys, I love alot of clubs in my bag but I think I love the Vokeys the most... Don't tell my irons that though.

Extrem quality, great weight, awesome looks, great finish and the results are coming too. I would not look at anything else.

Alex I am very much in two minds over the vokeys. I love the 52, love the 56 but hate the 60. Now some of this is maybe me, ok most is me, but just not sure. My teaching pro has said that the way I pitch makes it tough to use a 60. so what i may do is get a 52 and 56 and leave out a lob wedge, dont really need one tbh.

James, why nit have a lesson and fix your pitching issues. I dropped my 60 in favour of a 58 which now ive had a few wedge lessons I use almost as much as the 52

I had a lesson OS, that how we came to the conclusion I could do without it! lol I can play shots with the 52, 54, a 56, I use a 58 atm that I like, but for me the 60 brings in too many potential problems. I can use a 56 to play shots I need too I am just looking to minimise damage with the wedges, and by dropping the 60 I would do this. Just cant decide wether it is worth getting new vokeys for the new year or mizzy or cleveland wedges, with a set up change, (again) or stick with what I have, I am terrible for tinkering!!
:)

bad shots with the clevelands was a thin, just didnt know where the clubhead was a lot of the time. ended up loading the heads with lead weight but the balance wasnt good. the vokeys are a bit heavier in the head and ive a slightly shorter shaft and very rarely thin one these days

similar dilemma myself at the minute.

i currently have a cleveland cg10 52 mizuno faldo 56 and a norman drew 58.

now id really like to pick up norman drew 54 and drop the mizuno and cleveland out of the bag.

but i cant decide if its a wise idea.

wedges wedges why do you tempt me so?

Phil

Not mentioned here but I use ping tour w. Had cleveland 588 and mizuno mp wedges in the past. Trialed a vokey when looking at these pings and there is just somthing about the ping for me that really seems to work. The tour s looks great as well!
