Website Makeover

The GM site has had the Gok treatment and had a total makeover. Wow - it looks pretty impressive even if all the posts on here today have been removed.

Like things like the industry news section and golf course directory. Well done GM keep up the good work

so how has the forum changed. I didn't notice any differance appart from needing to log back on, which meant trying to remember what I used as a password..lol

The main site looks great. Would love them to do the same for the forum, it looks pretty tired and there are better formats out there.

I like the course directory feature- only trouble is it is both slightly lacking in information provided (although I suspect that would grow with time) and also the phone number for my club is completely wrong. Perhaps it would be an idea for us forumers to send into GM info on our home courses eg pictures etc so that when they have time (presuming that there are much more important things such as sorting out any website errors to deal with first) they can collate the info and put it in the section for that course. Might be a way of starting to compile useful data, could also include things like scorecards and local knowledge to help others. Then again that could be pointless as if everyone on here submitted the required info it still wouldn't cover 5% of the courses I would think.
