Had a little accident on the course today,my trolley fell over on a slope by a ditch and the range finder ended up in the water. Wasn't in long but long enough to get water inside, can't see anything through it now. At home I took the battery out and blew all the little nooks and crannies to try and dry it with compressed air and at the moment it's on top of the airing cupboard drying out. To be honest I haven't much hope, anybody out there done anything similar and had any success. I'm thinking I may have to send it back to Bushnell for a repair.

The only bit that comes off is the battery cover which doesn't really get inside much but if I can get some rice will give it a go, nothing to loose and all that.

Rice is your best option. I have a v3 and it's been soaked a few times where it stops working and once dried out it comes back to normal.

Try the rice and see how it goes

Cheers, it's now sat in a bowl of rice still in the airing cupboard. Will see what happens tomorrow.
