One golf swing, belongs to 9 handicapper, last seen at Royal Ascot Golf Club about two months ago. Owner desperately wants it back as his golf is started to get embarressing.

If found, please return to HawkeyeMS via this forum.

Haha brilliant. This thread is perfect for me too. Played my brand new track today. 2nd time after joining yesterday and looking for an improvement... Woeful. I hit 3 balls in a row OOB's didnt hit one tee shot or fairway shot well today. Never thought i would say this but rain saved me as we walked off!

We played together in a better ball comp. Off 3/4 handicap we were out in 19 and I had 17 of those. Contributed 4 straight pars at the next four then I lost my swing. I'm blaming fatigue carrying my partner, playing in the rain and the slow pace of our playing partners. He did come in with a point on 16 and 17!

To be honest I think his head had gone by about the 7th and it was merely one of those rounds where the more you try the worse it gets. We've all been there, me more often than not. To be fair Hawkeye has had to carry me for most of last season and so its nice that I can repay the favour this year. Shame I/we couldn't have kept going over the last 5 holes as we would have been there or thereabouts. I didn't swing great either but found a way to get it in the hole for 13 holes and then lost the ability to string two shots together as well so I'm not blameless. My short game is getting better though so I'll take that away as a positive. Dumping tow balls in the pond on 18 in front of a backed bar wasn't a good move and I got a bit of jip for that

Kick a man when he's down Homer!

This must be at least the fourth thread you've posted how badly your partner played in this comp. :o

Reverse psychology. Trying to embarrass him into playing like the steady player he and I both know he is. :p:D;) Truth is he had "one of those days" and is just going through a dip over the last few weeks. There was still some good shots over the opening 9 holes. As everyone knows it is sometimes just a case of riding out the poor run of form and when it clicks again in tends to do so in spectacular fashion. He'll be back!!

No-one can kick me anymore than I kick myself crow!

Still, only one way to fix the problem and that's to play through it so I'm off down the club tonight for the start of my revival. There must be something wrong with me, I've played like a clown for weeks and I still expect to win Sunday's medal  If nothing else, I'm always positive before I play

Hawkeye, im in the same boat mate, great form from november to jan, and now i couldnt throw a stone at the floor without missing,

chin up chap, i feel your pain,

Have mine free of charge it was shockingly sh*t tonight at the rollup.
If you have this one it will make way for a new one that might, even though I doubt it, than the one I'm offering you.

Damn it I was too late to get rid of this one!!

Enlighten us to your grip fix?

Think at one point he was +6 after 14 or so and when I saw him after he'd finished he was buzzing. Seems the grip change has made a huge difference and good to see him so happy and positive again. Just proves you can't keep a good man down. As long as he keeps it going for the Volvo's now all will be fine. Might be a dark horse for a good medal finish on Sunday too

it wasn't really a fix, just a realisation I was doing something wrong. Our pro change my grip slightly earlier in the year but I had let it get too much into my palm and not so much in my fingers. I guess I'd got a bit lazy
