As per the title really.

I'd like to try heavier weights in my Ping iWi putter. Has anyone got either a weight kit, or maybe even just one set of weights from a kit that they'd like to sell on?

Thanks.

Have you finished thosen grips already? :D

Have you considered trying lead tape?

Not done the grips yet. Hopefully tonight. Ordered them from Gamola yesterday so fingers crossed it'll be delivered today.

I thought about lead tape but I'd like to avoid changing how it looks if I can, that's just me.
I was also thinking about dropping something inside the shaft before I put the new grip on as another alternative. Good or bad idea?

Ping iWi weights

BNIB £27 roughly

Thanks for the link.

I don't normally consider buying anything from the US because of the possibility of getting hit with a tax bill when they turn up.
Is there a threshold for size/weight/value where I can guarantee I won't get charged import tax?

you pay VAT on goods valued at over £18, but beware if the goods are shipped EMS then you also pay VAT on the postage.

duty can be any amount, i should know i see it every night at work, have seen duty as low s 58p levied against goods.

we used to import on a large scale from the states, to be safe general rule of thumb was:

Under $100 ould normally be free, although we sometimes picked up a £13.00 clearence charge

Over $100
+6% duty
+£13 clearence
+£17.5% on total amount

this worked out pretty consistent through parcel force when having stuff shipped by US Mail.
