Wallasey GC anyone a member or play there regularly?

can you tell me something about the course that only a member or regular player would know?
Something that a google search wouldn't reveal I'm trying to out someone who claims to be a longterm member

Not a member, or played regularly (3-4 times only).

However, even being a local I didn't know that Frank Stableford was a member and invented the Stableford scoring system after having a mare on the first hole. I think it is the second that is named after him though, but can't be sure.

There is a plaque on one of the holes. Might be worth dropping his name into the conversation, seeing if it elicits a response.

The church facing the clubhouse is called St.Nicholas, might be another tester. There is a gay bar down the road called............

Take advantage of his 'membership' and get an invite there. You will get better reaction from Pro shop and clubhouse!

Defo worth playing too. First is pretty easy (and a great looking hole from tee), so that wouldn't have been the one. Plaque is on 2, but it was the run of 2, 3, 4 and 5 (great view) that are the card-wreckers!

Took him a while to get the system to settle down/be accepted, which is documented in the club but probably elsewhere too.

Sounds like your 'mate' might cheat at golf too!

Failing that, you could just reveal the name of the "member" and I will get my mate to check the handicap list.

He's never heard of a John Musgrove. My mate is off 6, plays every week and would know if he played in comps. Doesn't mean he's not a member as he could be Inactive, but highly suspicious.

are you sure he is a FULL member because my wife knows the name and she thinks he has something called a small member as for the signs liver birdie i would think you were having a fit
