Waiting for new kit

Went to Cubhousegolf last week. The fitting bay looks quality and the prices are Very good. So good in fact that I walked out with a new Mizzy bag, to put my new Mizzy irons in, which will be coming once I have visited the fitting centre in Wrexham next Friday. It's a classic mistake. I took out my old Mizuno MX25's last week as I was struggling with my Cally's. 2 rounds of sub 85 mean that I am now buying new Mizuno's. I shouldn't have strayed really..

Having my fitting at the Mizuno national fitting centre in New Malden.......tomorrow......can't wait....can't eat.....can't sleep....mind you have to play two rounds of golf between now and then....off out now, and one more in the morning before I get there

clubhouse golf is pretty good, I work in Manchester so get some stuff from there.

Stuart_C, what was the custom fitting like? Not known anyone who's had it done there....?

Jock, i tried the irons last week at True Fit Golf but they wanted £40 non refundable to do a C/F session. I was willing to buy them from there but they wouldn't budge on the price.

I went to clubhouse and told them what irons i wanted to try, i paid £25 for the session but i get that off the price of my irons which in reality it's free custom fit.

I tried the MP53's jpx800 pro's and the TM CB irons and although i was hitting them all well, i felt that the 800 pro's were much easier and consistant to hit.

Peter was the pro who fitted me for them and not once did he try to blag or push me to buy a certain model. He gave me his advice and was all round a top fella.

I've got gear from clubhouse golf and recommend it for online purchases. I also love the JPX 800 pro and really hit them well but I had my sensible head on that day and decided I was buying for the sake of it and the TP's were still doing a job for me

They've still not come although just spoke to clubhouse and they are expecting a delivery of mizuno custom gear today!

If there's a god above they'll be here today.
