Played on Wednesday on my home course Tenby. We got to the 8th and could see lots of people standing on a mound with telephoto lens cameras et all. I know I am playing some good stuff at the moment but I am not tour potential yet. Got to the the 10th and had chat with the pap, they were looking at a rare bird, a lesser spotted cuckoo.

played 18 late this afternoon and OMFG there were more people with cameras than a ryder cup tournament, got chatting with a couple from Scotland (they travelled 500 miles) to see this bird who has not been seen in the UK for 50 years!

More impressively I spanked my tee shot on the 10th straight down the middle, plus point I did not kill/hit the said rare birdie.

What was great was that they thanked me/us for letting us on the course to photograph said bird, so not only did I hit a straight drive today I also learned something! no flipping rare birdies for me though lol

You should be hoping it sets up home in a wooded area that plays havoc with your game. Chances are a environmentally responsible committee would declare it GUR and set up a drop zone ;)
