Very happy, I broke 100 after 8 attempts.

Just came back from my 8th round and I'm pleased to report that I shot 98.

Granted, I know this is still a high score. But after only 3 months of playing, I'm happy none the less.

I'll be having a lesson on my chipping in a few weeks (as it isn't very good), and hopefully I'll be shooting lower next summer.

Thanks mate.

You'll get there in no time.

I shot 115 last week so I certainly had luck on my side today.

Well done Bud.
I only hit under the ton once and that was 94 at Wyboston Lakes. Scored plenty of 9 holes there in the 40's. Played Cromwell 4 times now and scored 115 and 3 100 dead.

nice going, 100 sounds like an easy target to get below but as we all know it can soon be well over that with 1 or 2 nightmare holes :)

it took me about 3 months or so also and I now score below 100 most rounds after 6 months playing. I have put in plenty of practice and play every weekend now and feel my overall game and course management/shot selection improves every round

good luck to all us high cappers ;)

Well done. Still haven't broken 100 but just got my handicap and have entered my first comp. tomorrow so fingers crossed. Hope the added experience of playing in competitions will lower my score

I have only been playing for 3x weeks.
I am in the middle of a course of 6x lessons.
I shot 114 the other day, a mixture of shots I was very happy with & some truly terrible efforts!!

My next goal is to get under the ton on a regular basis, then i am going to put in my 3x cards for my official handicap.
