Upcoming live concerts.

Went to see Sam Ryder last night with the wife, Wembley Arena. I think he has one of the best singing voices in the world today, but I was bit fearful that the strength of his songs maybe wouldn't be good enough. Needn't have worried, he put on a fantastic show and I really enjoyed it. He was on stage for around two hours as well - great shift.

Not really a concert - and not really the theatre...more a 'show'

Went to see James B Partridge do his 'The Big Christmas Assembly' one man show in Guildford last night with my Mrs. An absolute hoot with everyone in the full house join in the singing as best they could, and just having a simply great time. He's still on tour.

Catch him if you need your spirits lifted a bit or just want a great fun Christmas-themed evening singing your heart out...nobody cares if you don't know the words and can't hold a note. As he says at the start 'You are all in a safe place...just let yourself go'. And don't be put off if you think it's 'religious'...it isn't - it's just what it says on the tin. You might start a little bit cynical and thinking WTF...but I guarantee that by the end you'll have been swept up by the enthusiasm of everyone else and the fun they are having, and you'll be giving it laldy

Absolutely 100% Recommended.

Neil Young coming to Cardiff, 2026.
with Elvis Costello supporting. Last chance to see him before one of us kicks the bucket but I'm dreading the stupid cost of an all dayer.
Might have to be just happy I saw him with CSN decades ago.

stadium show like that I'd be anticipating £120-250 per ticket depending on where you are... or, assuming it's at the principality just sit by the river and enjoy the noise but not the view!

No stadium - outdoor in a field (park).
£120.
All day job.

Bad Manners last night at Manchester academy 2 with wife. Damn place was rammed. I'm gonna stop telling people how good a night it is. We were right at the front. 8 pints deep and after max sploge has warmed us up nicely, he did a great rendition of swords of a thousand men, on came bad manners. They are on a 50th year party. Played all the hits plus two of my faves. I got caught up in the mass swirl at the front. Very friendly it was. If you went down you were helped back up and off you go again. Bruised and battered and totally knackered and very very happy got in at 11.30pm. Utterly awesome. A small kid, about 8 or 9 came on near the end to join the band and brilliant. Bopping and jumping around having the time of his life. Band members kid I assume. No fear what so ever.

Eddie TENPOLE last night at The Artisan in Newcastle under lyme. He was fantastic. He really does seem to enjoy what he's doing. We were right at the front!!!!! Got a video of him singing "Swords" all the way through, well it does sound more like a duet with me, LOL. He also did The Hayrick song at my request!!!!! Brilliant brilliant night. I hope he's coming back again!!!!!

Kezia Gill is next at the Manchester Acadamy this Saturday. Who? Big star in the C&W UK circles. We saw her first in Blackpool at a C&W thing we used to go to. She stood out a mile!!! Also seen her at Lancaster Working Mens Club thing. Looking forward to bragging to her followers about this. LOL

I'm tempted to get tickets for The Skids in March. Their singles were great as was Days In Europa, but didn't like their first album sooooooo.

Okey dokey. Manchester gig for Kezia Gill was brilliant. Smallish venue (500) but but shes on a journey. Got chatting to a guy at the front whos been to see her a few times and started to tell me about her, I stopped him and told him I knew her from working mens clubs and her lugging her own stuff about. Her show was about promoting her new album so we were disappointed not to hear her "older" stuff. She can't half sing though. She's steppped out of the melodic C&W and is now into the blast it loud C&W, and does it superbly well. To show she's still in touch with her crowd, she came down from the stage, in the middle of a song, to join in with a few line dancers and continued to belt the song out whilst line dancing. (I'll post it if I can figure how to do it). I've got it all on me phone. She was arms length from me. I'm sounding like a groupie, but I'm far from it. She's got her "Friday Night Crew" that follow her about. If you fancy a cheap gig to see a performer that's on fire I can highly recommend.
