Our family stack +2s and +4s (but not 2s on 4s) we also take the “shuffle hand” card out the pack as it’s rubbish. The calling of UNO is the only thing that causes debate, was it called quick enough?? All good fun and I have one 3 nights in a row (1st to 500)

Never played Uno…Switch (from which Uno seems to have been developed…dunno) was our family thing along with Knockout Whist and Rummy…and of course Cheat…at which I was always being accused of cheating

Don’t know what UNO switch is but the original Uno is super simple, you get 7 cards each and have to lay either a colour match or a number match, there are also some action cards, pick up 2 or 4 etc. first one out (not forgetting to say uno!) is the winner. It is better with 4 people but can be played with 2.

To be honest Cape Verde can be a boring place. Mint if you like laying down doing sod all all day there are a few trips. But thank god ( not really ) missis T bought the uno switch. Basically it is Uno which I believe is so easy to pick up, but there is a switch card which is used to play the game on the other side. It helps to read the rules. Some of the game is so simple. Other cards once you know how they can be played you don’t forget.
Glad we got the switch and not simple Uno.
There’s gonna be casualties tonight when we play.
