UKIP

You appear to have a crystal ball there to show how people are going to vote in the future ? Can it tell anything else ?

They appear to still be pretty much in the public eye and there is no reason to suggest they are going anywhere and there is nothing to say that they won't evolve as a party - unless your crystal ball says something different ?

Mmmmm, you have seen the news today??

Well judging by your comments on the Ryder Cup threads you seem pretty keen on judging things by past records and history.

So taking those two factors into account there would seem no reason to believe that UKIP are capable of evolving into a party with meaningful policies on a whole range of social and economic issues.

No crystal ball necessary but if I need one doubtless I can borrow the one you constantly use before announcing to us all what the future holds for Liverpool FC.

What does the Ryder Cup and Liverpool have to do with anything ? Totally irrelevant to the thread or anything that has been posted on the thread - surely you weren't posting cheap pathetic digs ?

I'm not fan of the UKIP party but to call them pointless is clearly very much wide of the mark - if they were pointless then people will no longer vote for them , I suspect you may get a shock come the next election. So would suggest that statements like "they are pointless" are made when they are no longer making an impression on the public and what they vote for.

Cheap digs!!!

Who mentioned a crystal ball?

It's all about opinions and I base mine upon .experience and a study of political history. With the benefit of that hindsight I see no reason to believe any different to my previously stated opinion that UKIP is now an organisation without a purpose (something Farage himself seems to appreciate) and, therefore, pointless.

You may think differently but I have given my reasoning and, to date, have seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

There has been plenty posted about Labour over the last few months.. Have you missed it all? Or does every poster have to post an equal amount about every Party? If so, then there are a few on this Forum that really need to start ripping into the Tories rather than just posting fanboy fiction about Theresa May on Reddit...
To be honest, yes I have missed it all. Anything that is said about the current Labour issues on this forum or elsewhere could never come close to summing up the utter and complete mess Labour have created for themselves. So, whist I saw the threads on the forum I didn't bother contributing.
If you want someone to rip into the Tories you should look to the Labour Party because actually that is their job. Something they are clearly not in a position to do to any great effect whist they remain a laughing stock. The Labour mess is funny to the extent that if it was fiction it would be branded too far fetched. However, it stops being funny when you realise that they are the official opposition, the body that holds the government to account. As such they have a duty to the British people and those that voted for them and they are failing this duty on a daily basis. Those that think UKIP are going to become irrelevant may be guilty of wishful thinking. If Labour don't sort themselves out soon UKIP are going to steal a lot of their support, mainly because Labour are incapable, inadequate and out of touch. UKIP on the other hand have struck a chord with the electorate. Before they even think about forming the next government, Labour would do well to remember that the title of HM Opposition is not theirs by right.

So Labour has been imploding since Bliar left office and nothing is said and now you post this?

I'd suggest having a look at the thread that has had over 75,000 views about Corbyn, the vast majority of which I suspect have been commenting on his unelecability and the chaos the labour party are in. Including me I'm sure at some stage. Before having a pop at me for posting mainly about what I thought was a clever newspaper headline about a party whose latest leader started by waving like a maniacal loon when elected and then lasted all of 18 days.

So we now have the old leader back again who has had more comebacks than Elvis, whilst at the same time one of main contenders for the leadership is getting flattened by a fellow allegedly mature representative of the voting public in behaviour you would associate with some rough school playground. Hence the post. But sorry if I offended any UKIP voters on here, I know they are not the most humourous of people.

Labour are so inept at the moment they'd struggle to rip in to Jimmy Saville!!! However, if they're going to be this bad then I suppose that several years from an election is as good a time as any. Plenty of time for some semblance of sanity to return to the Party.

Love the way you pigeon hole UKIP voters as Humorless!

Dont think you were so vociferous in your condemnation when a Labour MP carried out a similar act. Regarding your posts from the Daily Mash, they are the equivalent of silly schoolboy behaviour IMO of course which you will be quick enough to label UKIP easily offended.

UKIP is currently funnier than John Bishop.....and thats saying something.
Nothing but a bunch or idiots now lead again by a bigger clown than Labour could even find.

UKIP voters on here are probably not the most humorous - though humour is subjective - but I doubt they will be offended by anything you have said. I think you will find the professionally offended usually come from a little more left of the political spectrum.
As I have said, I didn't bother with the Jeremy Corbyn and Labour threads as the mess they have caused is hardly worth the effort of comment as its as plain as day to see. As you know my point was that whatever PR disaster - and it was a disaster - has befallen UKIP this week pales into insignificance compared to Labour. Even now I doubt Mr. Blair is on Mr. Brown's Christmas card list, and when they fell out they were running the country.
I do agree about the headline though and I do enjoy a good headline. My second favourite of all time was the reporting of the shock result in the Scottish Cup when Inverness Caledonian Thistle beat Celtic. The headline "Super Cally Go Ballistic - Celtic Are Atrocious was sublime. My favourite though was much simpler.
"New Labour Is Dead" 😀

Mission accomplished for Rudd.......UKIP have condemned her 'foreign workers' policy as a bridge too far.

Cue hard line Kippers in England and Wales switching to the Tories.
I think you are right. But more moderate people would agree that opposition claims that her speech was racist are ridiculous. The notion that we must give jobs to workers from abroad and leave local people on the dole otherwise we are racist is frankly laughable. Claiming her speech was racist is exactly the kind of nonsense that has Labour voters running to UKIP.
