UEFA how low can they sink.

Why do people put money in the collecting tins in the high street?
Because they are in a financial position to help others less fortunate than themselves.

Maybe premier league players are getting a bad rap but they know what they can do to change opinion.
Maybe your focus is in the wrong place.

Nobody, absolutely nobody should need to contribute to the NHS at this time, the Government should be picking up the bill, that’s their job.

People should be looking at local causes, care homes, the homeless, foodbanks etc.

Everybody at every level should try and do their bit, singling out 1 group and ignoring the rest is daft imo, especially when it’s been proved time and time again they do their bit and it’s the owners making these disgraceful decisions.

Yes if they are as disgusted as Carragher in the club and want to promote football in a better light they can give whatever they want and as much as they want. Just like everyone else can.
The difference is that we know those people are paid millions and are like us sat at home doing nothing where as we are working from home.

If they don’t want to do their bit then fine but don’t expect sympathy or any good publicity.
I just think they should but it is a personal opinion that maybe no one else shares.
We are at war and the sooner we pull together the better.

Politics like football teams is out the window we win or lose together. I also believe other sectors businesses should be doing the same but the media coverage tends to focus on football.

I disagree.

No footballer should be held accountable for the business decisions of geeedy owners and directors, I don’t care what club neither.

Currently the players haven’t done nothing wrong to be getting negative press, that’s been brought on by a Tory minister.

If players want to give money or time to Charities great, if they don’t they shouldn’t be judged any different.

Dont forget, Carragher will have a different outlook than a foreign player will.

To be clear, I’m disgusted at the decision to furlough non playing staff.

if they’d brought the bad rap on themselves I’d agree.....

I can Only disagree with you on this pal.

Nobody has a right to tell anyone else how to spend the money they have earned or make them feel bad for others missing out. It is business responsibility to ensure all its employees are paid, it is not the responsibility of other better paid employees to make up the short fall.

These businesses (football clubs) are with hundreds of millions in revenue the issue is the business is not taking responsibility for its staff overall. It is not up to to staff to pay the companies employees.

No good picking 2 words out Bob and ignoring the rest, otherwise it looks like your saying it’s OK for the Billionaire owners not to contribute so long as the Footballers do.

Rubbish, where did I say that?
It's not one or the other, it should be everyone from the billionaire club owners to the sports/pop stars, actors.
This is an amazing opportunity for the worlds rich to step forward and make a difference .

Seen nowt from foreign players here donating anything....Oh only pep, who has jetted back to Spain and is donating 1 million euros of British money to Spanish attempts to fight the virus. Not our NHS. So think on that City fans and Sky subscribers and everyone who goes to watch foreign players in our top league. And people are whining over Weatherspoons. Give me strength!!!! No matte what. IF this is ever over we will just go back to what we were doing before it happened and idiots will defend to the hilt their teams actions.

I'm sure Pep pays more than £1m a year in tax given his salary

You said/implied that when you used 2 words out of context in my answer to diamond rather than quote the whole post.
Unfortunately you can’t then get upset if your words are misinterpreted, none of us can have it both ways.(y)

I assume that you are equally unhappy about Gareth Bale donating 500000k of Spanish money to the Welsh NHS......
