Two eyes not four

if im on a long boozing session its not so bad. they can last as long as I can. staring at laptop or tv screens makes them dry out very quickly.

Same as me. Wear glasses for work as looking at a screen all day really makes my eyes uncomfortable with contacts.

Worn contacts for football and golf for years now, I would recommend any glasses wearer tries them out.

Am considering getting my eyes lasered but that plan has been pushed back a little.

If anyone hasn't found them I order my contacts online from Daysoft. Much cheaper than getting from an opticians, very comfortable lenses and deliver in a day or 2, perfick :)

So today I took the plunge and got a set of trial contact lenses to help me with my golf, being short sighted I need glasses to see anything far away, it's not too bad, just blurred.

So after years of wearing goggles to play golf I will be swapping them for contacts.

Anyone else made the jump and any success stories?

Around 12 years + for me with contacts, don't fancy laser eye surgery so these are next best thing.

I tried it, but I only wear my glasses at work and was only wearing my contacts for golf. As a result, it was taking me ages to put them in and take them out and I found my eyes were sore afterwards. I'm sure this would have improved with time but my eyes aren't that bad that I could be bothered with the hassle. I can't stand wearing glasses to play golf so I just put up with not being able to see the ball once it gets more than 180-200yds away.

Ive gone for daily disposables and will prob only use them for golf and maybe going out occasionally.

I had do put them in and take them out three times at specsavers. Got easier by the third and it was in and out within a minute. Going to try them on the range as part of my 5 different hour tests but I have to do a 10 hour test and have 36 hole foursomes champs on sat so might do that then!

I was born with no sight in my right eye and have started to become short sighted in my left. Major ballache, have been told by the doctor to not wear contacts as its to much of a risk. I am however considering them for sports. Plus side is i get twice as many contacts than i need!

Does it make much difference over glasses. The ball often goes out of the view of the lense of the glasses when twisting on a drive. Thats the only thing i would of thought it helps?

That's me - I wear contacts going out if I want to look handsome rather than intelligent :)
