What's the chance of england losing to NL...

A couple of my fellow cricket club members said that it was possible because we have Nannes and Ten Doeschate...

I think that they have no chance because even if they are playing, they still need support from a decent team. Wich they don't really have. And i reckon that England has enough decent 20/20 players to trash the Netherlands completely.

Furthermore, all the administrative people at the kncb (Dutch cricketing association) have all gone to lord's for the opening ceremony of the twenty20 tournament. Which they are being paid for to do (in total a couple of thousands of pounds) and in the mean time can't afford to pay some actual administrative businesses which actually are important to dutch cricket.

If you asked me dutch cricket is not going the right way at all, but that is obviously not what they think.

Am i CRAZY, or doesn't this make sense.

So England get beaten by a minnow.... where have we seen that before ?

Regarding the state of English cricket, there are too many prima donnas in the team. They are too full of their self importance. What happened to cricket being a TEAM event. Most of the prima donnas wouldn't have gotten neat a place in a test side 30 years ago. If England seriously want to challenge the Aussies this summmer they need to buck up their ideas. Yes I know Test Cricket is very different from 20-20 but the current crop of players don't seem to be able to understand what is required in winning a test match.

(Lights blue touchpaper and stands well back) ;)

I was too busy watching an interesting shade of wood stain blending into fencing post, oh how it flowed, then soaked followed by changing hue as it dried in the sunlight, till finally........

Funny that we lose and get a roasting on here but then get a very good win against Pakistan and no-one praises the boys with a single comment .

Well , i'll say it . Well played Lads !!! We've also put a huge dent in Pakistans hopes as they will need to match our victory run rate that we achieved today in defeating The Netherlands.....

And congrats to the Windies earlier on in the weekend for defeating the Aussies...Chris Gayle is an awesome batsman when he sets his mind to it

Totally agree Paul.

I was worried about the Dutch game before it happened, England were on a good run and they always come to a sticky end.

Granted I didn't expect to lose to the Dutch but thought it would be an uncomfortable win.

As for yesterday we were very good. Delighted with the win and like you say, the Pakistanis are likely out. Hopefully Sri Lanka will see off the Aussies and the trophy will be up for grabs.
