Burn - Better

Maybe there is a halfway house by having the burn better defined, but with wooden slats as opposed to nice neat stonework?

Possibly would look more rugged - and the wood would mature quickly.

And will remain consistent....looks like it's been done properly and sensitively. If they had levelled the surfaces with high walls I would have seen merit in the view that it was more suited to a parkland course - but they didn't.

Don't see anyone having suggested that the walls at St Andrews should have been removed because they spoiled the links look.

Totally agree, if its good enough for the old Course and Carnoustie.

Prob also stops people insisting on trying to play it from the the Burn and slipping over, H&S etc:) We have one dry Burn and one with water cutting across 4 holes, i would have no problem with we did this.
