So, I read the original Turn Don't Sway thread with great interest last week as it sounded very familiar.

Got down to the range last night for the first time in nearly two weeks, and armed with the thoughts of getting rid of my loop and a new drill from Bob that he showed me on Sunday upon picking up my new V-Easy (which is still intact ;)), I was determined to stop swinging like a bellend.

Well, I remembered the Turn Don't Sway thread and tried to keep that one thought in my mind.

What a difference! My body rotation was better and felt ALOT free-er. My backswing felt alot more controlled and less armsy.

I hit some awful shots, but I also hit some great shots that even had a bit of controlled draw...Definitely feeling alot better about things now, just got to keep at it to try and bed it in.

So, thanks to whoever started the original thread, it's helped no end!

I love this place.

Swaying has always been a problem of mine too. I've videoed my swing a few times and it's not a pretty sight. For the new season, my main swing thought is going to be about turning rather than swaying.

I am glad its helped your game. I feel its was a huge learning curve for me. People will have told me before about it but until it registered with me and I seen the results it didnt matter.

I am chuffed with how I am playing now and know that before long it will be something else causing me grief but for now I have "never" hit the ball so well.

Only a small help as yet because my swing still needs ALOT of work (but I do have a pretty "seasoned" pro helping me out ;)) but it's definitely helped my rotation and once I stop swing out to in, I'll be quids in.

Played yesterday and my turn was much better and much more over the ball. Impact was interesting as the divots were after where the ball had been so clearly compressing down well and more over the shot which is really what I've been working on. A lingering bad habit is to turn the hips way too fast through impact and not give myself time to catch up and hitting big carves to the right. It'll come
