Well, Ive had 8 VW/Audi cars and now the turbos went in my passat. Ah well, back at the hoose safe and well, just need to get my mate at Audi to do me another good turn.
Turbo gone big time.

I was over £600 about 5 years ago to have the turbo replaced on my Honda Civic!

It was a 2.2 TDi a cracking car it was ,it was my second one as the first one saved my life after a blow out at 70mph and landing in a field after many rolls.

I had a front blow out at 90 in a Carlton estate. Barely noticed the difference, it handled so badly any way. No drama though, just steered onto the hard shoulder. What were you doing to roll it?

I wish....past it by 5 months and 5000 miles.
If it has been serviced up to now, Id be onto VW to see if they will make a goodwill gesture towards it, failing that, get onto the local vw forums and see if you can get a cheap used turbo. Could save you a fair bit.
