Tunnocks Caramel Wafers....

Quite often in B&Bs in Scotland I've found a Tunnocks (wafer, not teacake) on my pillow instead of a tiny mint chocolate.
I approve.

Oooh, have never seen dark ones. Where do you get them from.
I am fairly sure that Sainsburys have these, although it’s a little while since I bought some. Blue and gold wrappers as opposed to the milk chocolate which are red and gold.

The dark chocolate aren’t as good as the milk chocolate. I was disappointed when I first came across them as I much prefer dark chocolate.

Was watching Bake Off - The Professionals last night and both the judges were complaining that the chocolate coating on the chocolate bars that the teams made were too thick!
I may not be an expert TV judge but I don't think that a chocolate coating can ever be too thick. And it sounds like quite a few on here agree with me.

Little thread revive.
Was on "tartan Airways " this evening and received a complimentary wafer ?

Used to regularly stay in a hotel which left a tea cake in the room ?
Also did the best 'haggis black pudding " with breakfast ?

Haggis black pudding? What is that? Haggis … yes; Black Pudding…yes (Stornoway, not North of England imitations plse). But as one?

…and Tunnocks Marshmallows…as your bite cracks the chocolate and your teeth disappear into the sweet softness of the filling and the crunch of the biscuit…?

Well done on making an effort but its not exactly up to an M&S narrative. Looking forward to your Christmas ad though :sneaky:
