I believe most people are about to be released back onto their courses in the next 2-3 weeks but will there be a trolley ban in place?.
I know some courses allow trolleys with the hedgehog fitting which is why Powakaddy came up with their own version.
Developed along with the greenkeepers association, they are now ready for sale and I've got a pair to try (Thanks Mike)
They're huge :)
When I get back on the course I'll give them a test and write a post in the Review section.
Beauties aren't they :)

There will be a 'leccy trolley ban at ours but not push or pullers as long as they've got hedgehogs on.

Like I said when you put the picture up before Bob - I saw a set of those on a Capri in '79 - wicked.

I saw these in AG and thought they looked horrible. I just have the hedgehogs on my GK as my course seem happy to accept those. How much are these new wheels and are they for winter use only or are they for year round play.

Out of interest what are those green patches all over the pictures

Not for me I'm afraid I really cannot see the logic behind them, so they contact less of the ground yippee, trolleys shouldn't be anywhere near the greens and should be kept a respectable distance from tees that eliminates any problems. Whats next hedgehog golf shoes?

I dont think they'll ban them at the royal, way too many people have them, the pro sells em and hires them and worse of all, it's the buggies that rip the course to bits and that’s just in the good weather.

Tommo,Tommo,Tommo....please tell me they don't still allow buggies on the course from mid October till April??!!

Dodger ma man, since I never use one I'm not sure. I know a couple of good old guys who cant play at this time of year, so there is a buggie ban of some sort. What rips my knitting is the buggie users who run up to the side of tees and slam on the brakes. Another example at the royal is the shale path from the 9th green to the 10 tee. It's for carts and buggies and no one uses it, they take the short cut. 9 times out of 10 people are waiting on the 10th tee so there's no hurry yet they dont use the path.
