I would not have defined a slice by the distance it moves right, but by the fact that it starts right (or straight) and goes further right. A fade always starts left, and comes back, but may end up further right than a slice (but would still be a fade). In the same way you can have too much draw (starting right, then moving left), but it is only a hook if it goes left (or straight) straightaway off the tee, and then bends further left.
You can block it right, and pull it left too, if you are covering all the bases.
