If you hit them virtually the same and you dont want to change your whole bag get the cobra's. You say they feel as good as the pings so you aren't losing anything in distance or feel. It will save you money in the long run.

Well Kid. No-one can make the choice for you. But I did try the Ping's when shopping around earlier this year. I hit them okay, but for some reason I couldn't get my head around the looks. The bats I ended up with were easily better, both on the eye, and at smacking a ball with.
Someone's already mentioned the Mizzy 53's. Did you not have the option to try them?

I had a go at the MP's and struggled with them to be hones especially the 63's. I was fine with the 53's up to the 4 iron which I couldn't hit at all. JPX800 Pro though was awesome and a tough call between them and the I15's as best club I hit in 2010. Ping just win it I think.

Ye, I would not even try the 63s and apart from being in love with the 53 I am still not sure I can handle them long term. Again though I found the 800 pro a little ugly.

I'd go with the Pings, simply for the reason of resale value - which you'll need with the frequency you change your clubs!!!

Don't let the whole old man, smelling of we thing put you off the Ping's. To be honest that is an attitude I have only ever encountered on here from the uninitiated. Warning though, if you do go for the Ping's you'll be Ping for life.
