That was a car crash. Need to get out and play a lot more. Never hit the ball that badly at the range but forget everything I'd worked on once I got grass under my FJ's

Yep, always good to play with my brothers and mate!
It was really foggy first thing and didn't lift until after the first 6 holes. Back nine was played in glorious sunshine.
We always have a pound nearest the pin and two pounds best score. I won 2 nearest pins and my brother pipped me by 2 shots for best score. Had it not been for my blowout on the 11th with a horrible 10
I would have broken 100. No excuses though.Conditions weren't very good underfoot and fairways a bit soggy in places, but considering the amount of rain..............
All in all it was great to be out there and can't wait to do it again! :thup:

A guy rolled up at our place today not having played since October and scored 35 points in our 14 hole competition. Just shows that a long layoff doesn't mean you won't hit top form as soon as you return.

Glad you enjoyed your day Chris would have liked to been there today as well, the 11th is not a easy hole and you can rack up a big score on it, sounds as though you played reasonably well seeing as you've not played much recently.
Looking forward to coming down in May,played with Joe in the week ,pleased with my game ( 34 points) ..:thup:
