I saw 5 new tee boxes, two new greens and a lot of ground under repair.
Course is being extended, and they're doing a terrific job keeping it playable in the interim, all 18 greens open.

......in the low sun, I saw every single bump and bobble, foot print, pitch mark and hollow tine scar on the greens.

I saw a foursomes match go out in front of us, when the comp was a stableford, played in threes. I also saw them drop 3 holes on the group in front.
What I didn't see, was us being let through any time soon.
Apparently the GM had said they had to play that day.

In my Winter KO match I saw a par 3 halved in 6.
Also if you converted my score into a stableford score I would have had 29 points. 10 x 2 points, 3 x 3 points and 5 blow outs. So not 1 point score on my card. And I only lost by 1 hole when i fluffed my chip into the bunker on the last.

During my lunchtime training; the 4 lake balls I had just hit 120-odd yards with my wedge, all sitting within 2 feet of one another. Never tire of that.
Today I saw signs of improvement in my overall game and a breakthrough moment in my chipping nightmare. I saw an old, old putter given a new lease of life and a decent round of golf punctuated by a couple of unforced errors
