TM Speed blades

It is because of the lessons I have been having that my swing speed has increased to the point of needing new clubs.

Well that is definitely progress. Good work.

My experience of getting fitted for a driver was that we spent a lot of time trying different shafts. When we found one that worked - the fitter said 'great, we are done'. I asked him about heads - Callaway, Nike, TM etc....he said "what colour do you want?"

I kid you not. He advised that I could have the RBZ2 but not the R1, Yes to the XHOT but no to the FIT Extreme...(all to do with the spin apparently) He genuinely felt that the heads are all good - it is the shaft that needs to be a more personal fit

I have used TM and enjoyed their products. I have seen the speed blades but to me they lack the wow factor compared to something like the Callaway Apex iron which I think is a good looking club for the average golfer. Of course Cally are also seemingly bringing new stuff out apace which I don't think they need to do. At the end of the day, irrespective of the name on the club it is how they perform when you swing them that counts, the price you pay and the enjoyment you get. If the Speed Blades tick the boxes then go for it

I'd doubt your swing-speed has really increased that much - though it's possible.

It's more likely that your swing has got more efficient!

Unless you are markedly spraying otherwise reasonable swings, I'd suggest you don't need an upgrade.

What symptoms are you experiencing that indicates you do?
